William Mashburn, age 92, of 394 Mashburn Road, Unadilla, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late William David Mashburn and Carrie Lila Peavy Mashburn. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, a retired farmer and loved the outdoors.

Larry Mashburn (Janelle) of Pinehurst
Wayne Mashburn (Sara Ann) of Pinehurst

Brother: John W. Mashburn of Vienna

Grandchildren: Todd Mashburn, Troy Mashburn, Lara Leigh Pullano, Carrie Mashburn, Rob Mashburn, Heather Worley and Shea Puritt

Great Grandchildren: 6

Special Friend: Dorothy Ayers of Vienna

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne S. Mashburn and his son, Ricky Mashburn.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday, October 20 in Harmony Baptist Church. Interment will be in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, October 19 at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Larry and Janelle Mashburn in Pinehurst.
