Maggie M. Brannen, age 93, of 8443 Highway 230 West, Unadilla, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at her residence.

Born in Hawkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Oswell McKinney and Margaret Shepard McKinney.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and retired from Robins Air Force Base.  "Miss Kat" loved to cook for her kids and grandkids and her specialties were sour cream pound cakes and vegetable soup.  She enjoyed working in her yard and going shopping.  She truly loved the Lord.

Survivors include:
​Daughter:  Shelia Davis (Mike) of Pinehurst

Sons:
Larry Brannen (Gloria) of Perry
Ronnie Brannen (Janice) of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  6
​Great Grandchildren:  8

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laidler Brannen.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Monday, May 15 in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla with Rev. Bruce Howland officiating.

The family will greet friends after the service and may be contacted at 8443 Highway 230 West, Unadilla.
