George M. "Mack" Bush, age 81, of 70 Bush Road, Vienna, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Joseph Daniel Bush and Gertrude Peavy Bush.  Mack was a true patriot.  He served his country with honor for over 20 years in the United States Army.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and received 2 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and 2 Bronze Stars.  He was an amazing husband, the best father his daughters could have asked for and an awesome Grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mack considered himself lucky to have his wife, Norma and called her "his beautiful bride" daily.  He was a great friend to many and above all, he was a Christian.  He was a hero to his family and will be sorely missed by them and his many friends.
