Charles Jones, age 67, of 310 Jones Road, Pinehurst, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.

Born in Perry, he was the son of the late Horace E. Jones and Jewell Thompson Jones.  Charles retired from Georgia Pacific Chemical and was a member of Snow United Methodist Church where he was a lay speaker.  He had a great love of music and musical instruments.  Charles was a member of Five For One and also played the piano, guitar, fiddle and the mandolin.  He loved to fish but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Chipper Jones (Tonya) of Pinehurst
David Jones (Vanessa) of Pinehurst
Hamp Jones (Laura) of Pinehurst

Grandchildren:  Radley Jones (Kate), Haley Kent, Joseph Jones, Bo Jones and Marley Jones

Sister-in-law:  Patricia Langston of Cordele

Brothers-in-law: 
Paul Langston (Penny) of Byromville
Mike Langston (Deborah) of Byromville

Charles is also survived by two special friends, John and Deidre Hibberd of Unadilla and several nieces and nephews.

He was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild in March, 2018.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Saturday, November 18 in Snow United Methodist Church.

The family will greet friends 6 - 7:30 PM Friday, November 17 at the funeral home.
